Ingredients

  • 2 oz olive oil
  • 1 tsp. garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb. shrimp tails, medium, cleaned & deveined (I like to remove the tail shells)
  • 2 oz white wine
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice, ½ lemon
  • 8 oz linguine (or pasta of your choice)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
  • for no carb serve with cooked broccoli heads

Directions

Step 1

Cook pasta per packaging instructions for al dente.

Step 2

Heat olive oil, butter, garlic, capers & lemon juice in a sauté pan. Heat until garlic is golden brown.  Be sure not to burn!  Deglaze with white wine, let reduce adding shrimp at the very end.

Step 3

Add salt & pepper with cooked pasta & parsley to sauté pan & toss mixing well.

Step 14

Taste & adjust if needed. Arrange in large pasta bowl & serve.
